PLC Bridge
Connect any system with Node-RED.
Draw the connection instead of coding it. Node-RED flows read and write IntelliSuite data and react to events, so your ERP, MES, databases, brokers and APIs can talk to it however you decide, with our support.
What it is
Visual flows, no integration code.
Node-RED is an open source tool where you wire blocks together in a browser: a trigger, a few steps, a destination. Each flow is one connection between IntelliSuite and something else, and you can have as many flows as you have systems.
A flow can reach:
- ERP and MES, for work orders, schedules and completions
- Databases, SQL or otherwise, read and written on a schedule or on an event
- MQTT brokers, publishing and subscribing
- HTTP and REST APIs, calling out and receiving webhooks
- Files, such as CSV and Excel drops on a share
- Email, for notices and reports to whoever needs them
How it fits
Both directions, and on events.
PLC Bridge speaks the controller protocols. Node-RED is for everything else, so when the system you need to reach is not on the protocol list, you build a flow instead of a custom integration.
Read IntelliSuite data
A flow pulls production state, jobs, counts and downtime from IntelliSuite and sends it on to the system that needs it.
Write IntelliSuite data
A flow takes a work order, a schedule line or a reason code from another system and puts it into IntelliSuite, so nobody keys it twice.
React to events
A downtime starts, a job completes, a shift changes: the flow runs when it happens and does what you drew.
Support
Supported by us.
You do not have to learn it alone. We help you set up Node-RED alongside IntelliSuite and build your first flows, and we stand behind it afterwards. If a connection needs more than a flow, our custom integration work picks up from there.
Node-RED is a trademark of the OpenJS Foundation. It is named here to describe what the flows run on, and nothing on this page implies affiliation or endorsement.
Tell us which system.
Name the system you want connected and what should move between it and IntelliSuite. We will say what the flow looks like.
