Product comparisons
One page per product, covering what each one is for, where it runs, what it connects to, and which situations suit the other product better than ours.
How these comparisons are written
- Their claims come from them. Every statement about another product is taken from that vendor’s own current published pages, and each page lists the URLs it used and the date they were read.
- Prices only where they publish them. Some vendors publish a price list and some do not. Where a vendor does not, the page says so rather than repeating a number from somewhere else.
- Every page says who the other product suits better. There are plants we are the wrong answer for, and the page names them. A comparison where one product wins every row is an advert.
- We update them, and we will correct them. Products change. When a cited page changes we update ours, and if you work for one of these vendors and we have read your material wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

OEE IntelliSuite vs MachineMetrics
MachineMetrics is a cloud platform that reads CNC controls through an Edge device, and its own documentation says that Edge needs internet access to reach the MachineMetrics cloud. OEE IntelliSuite can install on a server inside your plant and reads the Vorne XL boards you already own. Where the data has to live usually decides this one.
-
OEE IntelliSuite vs Evocon
Evocon is cloud OEE software that publishes its prices per machine per month and stores data on AWS, by its own account. OEE IntelliSuite can run on a server in your plant and reads Vorne XL boards, V1 and V2. Evocon sells a fast standard rollout; we fit the plant with hardware and rules it already has.
-
OEE IntelliSuite vs Datanomix
Datanomix monitors CNC machines with no operator input: it reads part numbers, cycle times and machine state off the control and reports setups, downtime and OEE on its own. OEE IntelliSuite reads Vorne XL boards and asks the floor for reasons, jobs and labor. The real question is whether operator context is worth the operator time it costs.
-
OEE Work Tracker vs XBHMI
A feature grid for the two ways of putting jobs, teams, states and reject categories onto a Vorne XL board: a Windows desktop application, or a web application any tablet on the floor can open.
Why there is no comparison against Vorne
OEE IntelliSuite runs on Vorne XL data. The boards do the measuring and we do the reporting, alerting, operator workflow and history around them, which is why every product page here assumes you keep the hardware you bought. Comparing ourselves against the boards our software reads would be a comparison between a plant floor device and the software watching it, and it would contradict everything else on this site.
If what you are weighing is Vorne XL Enterprise against our reporting, that is a fair question and a specific one. Ask us directly and we will answer it against your board list rather than in general.
Not comparing products yet?
A comparison is the last question people ask, not the first. Before it come the specific ones: what a V1 board holds, what leaves the network when an alert goes out, what happens to the reports you already built. Those have their own pages on the answers index, and the shorter versions are on the FAQ.
Comparing us against something not on this list?
Tell us which product and what you are trying to decide. We will answer against their published material and say plainly where they are the better fit.
